About Me
I want to thank you for visiting my portfolio. I have been designing since the age of thirteen and my experience is seen through my work. One of my first websites was a wrestling fan-site called “Stunner Central.” As a part of my wrestling fan-site I made a message board that used CGI language, which is practically obsolete now. After starting high school I began to lose interest in wrestling and shut down my website, Stunner Central.
During high school I developed a few free-lance websites for companies around Houston. I took a Web Development class in high school that helped to further my developing skills. My experience in web design enabled me to bypass the first Web Design class and go straight to Web Design II. After graduating in 2005 with a Web Design course and Digital Imaging class under my belt, I felt that Web Design was something that I loved doing and wanted to continue on with as my career.
I started college right out of high school at College of the Mainland, studying Web and Graphic Design. I then later decided that I wanted a more advanced degree and started attending The Art Institute of Houston. My major at The Art Institute is Web Design and Interactive Media.
The phrase “Interactive Media” is still intriguing to me. Everyone becomes interested when I first mention my major. What is Interactive Media Design? Interactive Media Design is basically a little bit of everything. My major consists of: Web Design, Graphic Design, Layout, Video Design, Audio Design, Flash Animation, Scripting Languages, and much more.
My portfolio highlights all of my learned skills through my projects over the years.
I will be graduating this winter, from The Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, with a Major in Web Design and Interactive Media.
During my spare time I enjoy watching and playing sports. I am one of the biggest NFL fans around. I also enjoy doing independent studies to better my web design skills. One of my newest obsessions have been working out and trying to be as healthy as possible.
Thank you again for visiting my portfolio and I hope to hear from you soon.
